Prayer for Engaged Couples

Lord, our God,

Pour out your blessings on those engaged couples within our parish.
In your providence you have brought them together.
Help them to prepare well for their marriage.
Bring them closer to each other in respect and trust.
As you have given them to each other, help them to give themselves to you.
May your love be upon them as we place all our hope in you.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
