St. Gregory the Great
St. John the Baptist

An Update for Our Cohort 6Family
Our goals for the Cohort are on task and we are confident that we shall exceed them:
Community Outreach: Enhance existing collaborative Respect Life efforts & Food Pantry Support.
Faith Education, Offer supplemental faith-enrichment activities to RCIA & Religious Education programs.
Outreach to Youth & Young Adults Strengthen cohort-wide activities that bring more youth to Christ, while enriching relationships within their families and the community. Build off of already established groups to reach more young adult parishioners.
On the Horizon
A Cohort Core Team “Meet & Greet” We want to celebrate the accomplishments of the Cohort and strengthen the ties we have formed during our collaboration.
Lent will be here soon and before you know it, we will be celebrating the Risen Lord. What will you do during those 40 days leading up to Easter to foster your relationship with the Lord? Click the article title for a suggestion.
The overflowing joy of the participants in the annual March for Life “charges the batteries” of all pro-life Americans. No pro-life Americans should miss out on this experience, so this year, the rally and pre-rally shows will be covered virtually! Click the article title for a link to the registration (free) to receive the link to the live-streamed events.
Just a reminder--please remember those in our community who may be hungry and drop off some nonperishable food for Mount Carmel Guild and St Raphael’s Pantry. The need is greater than ever! To address this need, more food pantries have opened, but the resources are now spread out over additional food pantries. Please be generous! Click the article title for more information, including distribution dates.
The Lumen Christi-Cohort 6, Covid-19 Walk-A-Thon was a success, with just about 25 registered walkers from our three parishes, CCD classes, and members from the Cohort. Click the article title for more information, and a picture of the Bishop wearing one of our masks!
