The OLS-SA Youth Group has been doing a great job showing up and providing service to our community. It's time to reward our teens! The OLS 8th Grade will be selling baked goods in the church hall at Our Lady of Sorrows and at the stage end of St. Anthony’s hall following the Saturday evening and Sunday morning masses the weekend of March 15-16. It’s a perfect time to pick up some St Patrick’s Day desserts! The funds raised by the bake sale help support graduation and end-of-year activities.

This Friday, March 6, our parish is delighted to welcome His Excellency, Bishop David M. O'Connell, who will celebrate the 9:00 AM Mass for our students and visit our school. All are welcome!

Our candidates for Confirmation will be dedicating much of this coming Saturday [3/7] to a “NET” retreat of preparation to receive the Gift of the Holy Spirit. Our parish will welcome specially trained young adults from various parts of the country to direct the retreat. Please remember the NET team and our candidates in prayer this Saturday.

Ana Samuel will speak at St. Gregory the Great on the importance of family and the challenges of raising children in today’s secular world on this Thursday, February 13. Ana will share positive, loving, disciplined guidelines for raising children in our Catholic Faith as offered by Pope Francis in his exhortation – “The Joy of Love”. The PTA’s 2nd annual Spike to Serve Volleyball Tournament will take place on Friday, February 21, at 5:30 pm in the OLS School Gym. We would like to invite our parishioners to attend as spectators. Admission is $2. We will have a 50/50, concessions, and proceeds go toward our OLS Parents Tuition Angel Financial Aid fund.
