    During August, 44 volunteers provided 245.8 hours of service (e.g. visiting, transportation, shopping, and chores) to 33 persons. Caring Hearts volunteers provide non-medical services to our homebound elderly and disabled neighbors.   • Let's Celebrate Our Patronal Feast

    Although next Sunday, September 15, is the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time, our parish will celebrate its Patronal Solemnity of Our Lady of Sorrows, who is the co-patron of our community, at both of our church locations. Following the last Sunday morning Mass at both churches next week, we will conclude our patronal celebration with light refreshments in the church halls.

    Since all priests of the diocese will be at their annual convocation in Avalon from Tuesday to Thursday, September 10-12, our deacons will preside at Liturgies of the Word with reception of Holy Communion on Wednesday and Thursday (September 11 and 12) at the usual Mass times.
