"Come and see!" said Philip to Nathaniel (John 1:46). I repeat his words as I welcome you to our parish website!
The parish of Our Lady of Sorrows - Saint Anthony is one of the four Roman Catholic parishes of Hamilton, New Jersey in the Diocese of Trenton. Our community was founded on July 1, 2005, through the union of two parishes—Our Lady of Sorrows (1939) and Saint Anthony (1921). We are one parish family blessed with two great churches. We also support the great work of Catholic education through our Preschool and Elementary School, Religious Education Program, and Youth Group.
Thanks for taking the time to visit our website. I hope it reflects the vibrancy of a community in love with the Lord and His Church! May it also be a useful tool to keep everyone well-informed about all that is happening here, and a welcoming introduction for first time visitors and new parishioners.
"Come!" and I am sure you will love what you "See!"
Msgr. Thomas Gervasio
Pastor
Welcome to our Church.
Walk toward the splendor, the Lord walks with you.
Enter with trust and joy and prepare your heart.
Come on your own or with your brothers and sisters,
but come, follow in the footsteps of your forebears.
You have a place in God's House.
You have brothers and sisters to meet,
Saints to imitate,
Our Lady to hear
and the mystery of the Church to live.
If you thirst for joy, delight, justice, love, forgiveness,
Come to draw the living water from the fountain of salvation.
Whether young and enthusiastic, burdened by suffering,
feeling marginalized, or happily living your family life,
Come be enlightened by the Gospel.
Leave reconciled, comforted, renewed.
Announce the Good News to your brothers and sisters.
God loves us and hears us!
Enter then,
Walk toward the splendor, the Lord walks with you.
