Dear Parents and Guardians of our Seventh Grade Students:

Our parish supports you in your vocation as the primary religious educators of your children especially as you prepare their reception of the sacraments.  Preparation for Confirmation involves teaching of the “basics” of the Faith, but also how to apply these teachings to a child’s relationships, decisions and goals.  Our combined efforts will help your understand the meaning of Confirmation.  As your teenager strives to clarify his or her own convictions, attitudes and values, YOU are his or her most influential role model.  Remember,”Faith is caught more than taught.” Please mark your calendars to attend an important meeting we have arranged for you.

You must see the Director of Religious Education should you miss this one time meeting.  In addition to the pastor’s presentation, folders containing important details regarding our parish celebration of Confirmation will be distributed. This information will not be given over the telephone.
