Welcome
August,
2009
Dear Parents and Guardians:
Greetings and welcome to the
beginning of the new catechetical year!
Parents and parish are
indeed partners in the task of passing on our Catholic faith to our
children.
While you are the primary educators of your children in the ways of
faith, our parish supports you in this vocation.
We are
grateful to our catechists, our fellow parishioners, who offer their
time and talent to our community.
All are welcome and encouraged to join this ministry. We
can never have too many volunteers!
If you are interested in being a part of this work,
please contact the office: 587-4140 x2 or email
MFncis@ols-sa.org.

Late

Late
Arrival:
In our
concern for child safety, a hall monitor will escort your child to his
or her classroom.
Catechists will report tardiness to the office. Parents will be
contacted in cases of frequent tardiness.
Late
Pick-Up:
Young
children become anxious when family members are late in picking them
up.
When not picked up on time, the children will be escorted to the
Religious Education office to contact
his or her family or a designated emergency contact person.
To Help Us
Serve You Better
Review the
enclosed Program Calendar, School Floor Plan, Photo Release /Web Site
Form and Emergency
contact form (Please complete & return as soon as possible.); and
Parent’s Handbook.
We strongly
discourage “walk in” visits to the office during class
time. Such unexpected visits inhibit our ability to
meet the needs of our students and catechists. Please try to make an
appointment or visit between the
hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Please
consult the office before removing your child during regular class
time. For the safety of our students,
catechists have been instructed not to release a child without
permission from the office.
All
visitors must report to the Religious Education Office upon entering
the school building.
It is important that no unauthorized adults be in the building during
class time.
