CCD Registration for 2008-2009 is still going on.
Classes are on Sunday 9:30am-10:45am, Monday 4:30pm - 5:45pm, and Wednesday 6:00pm - 7:15pm.

In order to place the children in the various sessions, we ask for your cooperation in completing registration forms as soon as possible.

Adult Faith Formation Committee
 

Mission Statement

We the Adult Faith Formation Committee of Our Lady of Sorrows, strive to promote a vibrant community of faith by working to create and support a community of adult learners. We function as a network linking parish committees, ministries and special interest groups with the parish community at large. It is our priority to ensure that adults of OLS are provided with faith formation opportunities and the educational tools necessary to bring us closer to Jesus Christ.

Committee Description

Who is on the Adult Faith Formation Committee?

Volunteer parishioners who are interested in giving form to the vision outlined in our mission statement.

How does a person become a member of the Adult Faith Formation Committee?

One becomes a member by expressing interest in participating in the mission and objectives of the AFF Committee. At which point the individual will attend 2 meetings on a trial basis, allowing the opportunity to discern ministry. However, individual parishioners may also be invited to participate. Those parishioners, who wish to participate, yet prefer not to be members may be involved on an ad hoc basis.

How long is a person a member of the committee?

A person is a member of the committee for a 3 year term which is renewable.

What is involved in being a member of the AFF committee?

Committee members actively participate in monthly meetings, they share in and follow through specific task and responsibilities. Additional time commitments will depend on personal interest and availability.
